Senior Project Manager - Construction - Multifamily

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team. This role involves managing complex construction projects, including ground-up, multifamily, commercial, and retail construction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Big Box Retail Construction and be ready to take a leading role in our fast-paced, growing company.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of construction projects from initial planning to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project objectives are met.
- Manage and supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and laborers, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
- Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and other necessary documentation.
- Conduct risk assessments, identify potential issues, and implement appropriate solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and building regulations.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers.
- Perform regular site inspections and coordinate necessary adjustments.
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints related to the construction process.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Construction industry, with a focus on ground-up multifamily.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various construction sites.
- PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an advantage.
