About the role
The Senior Project Manager, Project Delivery (SPM) oversees the implementation of a Contract for a Delivery Project or a portion of an IS Delivery Project. They manage the financial aspects, subcontractors/vendors, client relationships, and ensure a safe, quality outcome that meets or exceeds company commitments.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment through site planning, Safety Plan review, JHA approvals, on-site tool box talks, and site walks with the Lead Construction Manager.
- Be the key resource for the Project Executive and Vice President regarding project scope to ensure compliance with codes and project requirements.
- Manage the Project Budget and understand Contract delivery types (Guaranteed Maximum Price, Lump Sum, or Concession Agreement).
- Negotiate and prepare vendor purchase orders and subcontracts to support project schedule milestones.
- Lead the Hand-off meeting from Development to establish project goals, parameters, and client expectations.
- Oversee the site utilization plan focusing on cleanliness, access control, and safety of employees, clients, and the public.
- Establish the Baseline Schedule for the project with emphasis on energy savings requirements and milestones.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and pertinent monthly project reports and cost reviews using current information from Job Management and Accounting Platforms.
- Ensure the implementation of the Project Specific Quality Assurance Plan, including proper documentation to the client and all subcontractors/vendors.
- Manage the Change Management process from RFI Affect Letters, Drawing Revisions, and Client Directives to resolution with accuracy and timeliness.
- Create and distribute agendas and meeting minutes from regular project meetings with the team, vendors, subcontractors, and client.
- Communicate and manage mitigation plans for all Risk Log items with project leadership.
- Work seamlessly with the leadership of all divisions.
- Build and maintain strong customer relations with subcontractors, vendors, and clients, ensuring a predictable outcome aligned with client and company energy goals.
- Manage and develop all Project Managers.
Qualifications
- 4 Year Degree in Construction Management, applicable Engineering, or relevant field experience.
- 8+ years of experience.
- Effective presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and willingness to address challenges.
