This role is specifically within the Light Industrial/Cold Storage division.
Responsibilities
- Manage client expectations, queries, and project information flow.
- Ensure timely final subcontractor reconciliation, billing, punchlist completion, and project closeout.
- Participate in developing and implementing best practices in project management by leading by example.
- Develop detailed construction budgets and schedules, including milestones, durations, and dependencies.
- Oversee progress relative to the contract construction schedule.
- Schedule and document required government inspections during construction.
- Communicate daily with owners, tenant representatives, construction managers, superintendents, and project coordinators.
- Manage multiple projects as the primary client liaison.
- Review original estimates and analyze total proposal packages; lead proactive pre-job planning including design development, conceptual estimating, scheduling, bidding, buyout, contracts, project team communications, and team building.
- Handle client and subcontractor issues, RFIs, change orders, pay applications, monthly cost analysis, and reporting in a timely manner.
- Resolve project issues identified in monthly meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction or Civil Engineering.
- Experience on mid to large-size projects, particularly in light industrial and cold storage.
- Experience with budgeting and creating Guaranteed Maximum Prices (GMPs).
- 10+ years of experience preferred.
- Proficient in ProCore, Bluebeam, and CMIC.
- Strong interpersonal communication and adaptability to ensure project success.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Projects.
