Senior Project Manager - Civil Engineer

About the role

SCS Engineers is looking for a Senior Project Manager to work on various civil, solid waste and environmental related projects in Orlando area. You will be contributing to existing client relationships and will be supported in growing existing and new client relationships. Your role will have a primary focus on stormwater and other development projects, with some future opportunities on solid waste management projects, including landfill gas, landfills and landfill infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to our growth in the Orlando area by meeting client needs, managing projects, mentoring staff, and providing technical expertise.
• Prioritize and follow SCS health and safety protocols.
• Engage with clients by responding to inquiries, assessing needs, and developing tailored proposals for needed work.
• Cookstaff to complete quality work/projects.
• Manage projects and their profitability.
• Integrate with other Environmental Services and Solid Waste Services staff across the company.
• Collaborate with local colleagues and SCS national technical experts as we develop strategies for expanding ways in which we contribute to our clients’ success.
• Review requests for proposal (RFPs), assist with go/no go decisions, and draft and/or review proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related field of engineering required. Civil, Environmental, Geological, or Geotechnical Engineering is preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of related work experience required.
• Minimum of 10 years working at an environmental consulting firm preferred.
• Business Development experience preferred.
• FL P.E. registration or ability to obtain reciprocity within 6 months required.
• Competent with MS Office and other computer software normally used in environmental consulting.
• Experience directing staff using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil3D design software is a plus.

Benefits

Pay Range: USD $125,000.00 - USD $175,000.00 /Yr. Schedule

This position may have the option for hybrid flexibility but is expected to be in our Orlando office.

Pay

USD $125,000.00 - USD $175,000.00 /Yr.
