Senior Project Manager - Bridges

About the role

CDM Smith is hiring in South Carolina for an experienced Senior Bridge Project Manager to join their Transportation group. This position supports the firm's strong position in transportation with the SCDOT and municipal clients in South Carolina and the southern US.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex transportation projects for major agencies in South Carolina
• Lead multi-disciplined project teams
• Develop the scope and budget for new project pursuits
• Aid in marketing and business development activities
• Serve as a leader in the South Carolina Transportation Group
• Manage and assist with strategic pursuits including proposal development and client meetings
• Prepare and manage design and construction contract specifications for transportation projects
• Implement quality procedures at project and task levels
• Mentor staff and expand the bridge practice in South Carolina
• Be active in professional societies where clients or potential clients are members

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 10 years of related experience
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification required (within 12 months of hire or promotion)
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required
