Your impact Our onsite Program Management team in Chicago, IL is looking to add an experienced and collaborative Senior Project Manager in support of a multi-billion-dollar airport capital Redevelopment Program. The redevelopment will occur in the middle of an active airport and the existing terminal and concourses will remain operational while the new facility is built in place in a phased approach. This position allows for the opportunity to be a major contributor to the growth of one of the busiest airports in the world as part of the program management team. Reporting directly to the Project Delivery Director, your responsibilities will include management of the design team’s appointed Consultants, partnering with representatives from the client, management of the appointed Construction Manager At-Risk (CMAR). Stakeholder coordination with CDA departments, interface management, design and construction oversight, reporting, problem solving, risk assessments and preparation of presentation material, providing day-to-day project and technical management of activities. Responsibilities Manage and track project level scope of work, risk, cost, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and environmental (design and construction)Manage project Value Engineering activities and provide oversight and contribution to ongoing planning, design, and construction activitiesProvide input on project delivery methods, contract activities, and project execution planInterface the project with the Diversity Equity and Inclusion team.Facilitate resolution of technical and contractual issues (design and construction)Manage the designers and CMAR contracts including contract negotiations.Monitor and report on progress and issues affecting the assigned projects and presents details of various phases of the assigned projects to the ClientRecommend resources and priorities to Client needed to support assigned projects while monitoring application of QA/QC standards and the design review processComplete miscellaneous technical reviews and scope development.Review work product for completeness, quality, timeliness and designs for adequacy and unambiguous information while providing input to and support design decision tracking database. Here's what you'll need Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction 15+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Owner’s Representative on projects with a minimum construction value of $500 MillionStrong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building Experience working on Aviation project management teams delivering major facilities, specifically terminal building projectsExperience with CMAR projects Demonstrated experience leading vertical design and construction projectsValid driver's license and the ability to pass a motor vehicle background checkAbility to work onsite full time at O’Hare International Airport with the program management team Ideally, you’ll also have Experience with alternate delivery contracts Certified Construction Manager (CCM), CM-Lean, PMP, DBIA Professional, Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect license/certification Sponsorship is not available for this position. #EastPMCM #NorthPMCM Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
