Senior Project Manager - Audio Visual Integration

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager (PM3) who can lead large, high-impact, multidisciplinary projects with confidence and precision. This role is responsible for delivering complex initiatives that require advanced coordination across multiple teams, stakeholders, and workstreams. You will operate as a senior leader within our Technical Operations delivery model, driving execution across Engineering, Fabrication, Field Services, and Operations. You will ensure that every element of the project is aligned, risks are actively managed, and performance expectations are consistently met.
You will be responsible for establishing structure and discipline across your projects. This includes leading execution cadence, managing interdependencies, maintaining visibility into risks, and ensuring that teams are aligned and moving with purpose. You will also play a key role in mentoring Associate Project Managers and Project Managers, helping to elevate overall team performance.
Financial management is a critical component of this role. You will oversee budgets, forecasts, and margin performance, ensuring that projects are not only delivered successfully but delivered profitably. You will proactively identify risks and take action to protect both schedule and financial outcomes. You will serve as a trusted leader for both clients and internal teams, operating with confidence, clarity, and accountability in high-pressure environments.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of project, acting as the single point of responsibility and accountability.
- Ensure schedule performance, quality of solution delivered to client, and client satisfaction.
- Manage and report on the project’s financials, including budget performance and profitability.
- Ensure timely and correct billings to client.
- Demonstrate proactivity, responsiveness, and follow-through.
- Communicate decision options to stakeholders and manage those decisions.
- Lead execution cadence, manage interdependencies, and maintain visibility into risks.
- Mentor Associate Project Managers and Project Managers to elevate team performance.
- Oversee budgets, forecasts, and margin performance to ensure profitable project delivery.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks to protect schedule and financial outcomes.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a project manager in commercial construction trades or AV commercial settings.
- Deep knowledge and experience with audio/video systems.
- Knowledgeable of low voltage electrical projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Supervisory and people skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical, political, and people-related problems.
- Strong financial background in project cost accounting.
- High level of both written and verbal communication skills.
- Client-focused with the ability to understand how clients can use technology to meet their business needs.
- Approachable, works well on teams, and is a natural leader.
- Effective delegation skills.
- Strong at setting and managing expectations.
- Personally organized, manages time well, and sets clear priorities.

Qualifications
- Associates/Bachelors degree required and/or equivalent experience.
- PMP certification from the Project Management Institute, preferred.
- AVIXA CTS certification, preferred.
- Other relevant certifications may be required or preferred based on the technology focus of the position.
Physical Working Environment
The physical demands described here are representative of those that may be met by an employee. The employee may be exposed to construction site conditions on a regular basis and is responsible for their safety while on job sites, complying with all safety regulations in place by the GC. Use of PPE is usually required on job sites.
- Typically spend at least 40% of their time on their feet and mobile around the construction site.
- Ability to occasionally climb ladders, use stairs, and lift and/or move materials up to 20 pounds in construction areas.
- Regularly required to use keyboards, test equipment, and controls for SI installation projects.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth vision.
- When not on construction sites, the employee will experience normal office conditions and use office equipment such as computers and peripherals.
Travel
- Frequent travel by car and occasional airplane trips are required. Employee must possess a valid driver’s license in their state of residence.
- Use of personal vehicle is required and will be reimbursed for mileage at the current corporate rate.
- Local travel to job sites (within a 2-hour driving distance each way) will make up 70-90% of travel, but remote travel can be up to 30% at times.
- 10% remote travel is required on a regular basis.
