Senior Project Manager

Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager at ZOLL Medical Corporation plays a key leadership role in driving business transformation and system or process initiatives across the organization. This position is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional projects from concept through delivery — ensuring that initiatives are executed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Essential Functions

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of complex projects that span multiple business units and functions.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations using standard project management tools and methodologies.
• Manage project scope, risks, and dependencies, proactively identifying issues and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Communicate clear and consistent project updates to stakeholders, executives, and project teams throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Drive accountability by defining key milestones, deliverables, and performance measures (KPIs) for each initiative.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with business leaders, IT teams, and external partners to ensure project success.
• Provide mentorship, coaching, and day-to-day leadership for Project Managers and project team members as appropriate.
• Champion best practices in project management, supporting the continuous improvement of tools, templates, and processes across the department.
• Collaborate with leadership to align project outcomes with strategic business objectives and transformation goals.

Required/Preferred Education And Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional business transformation or IT projects
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI

• Proven success managing complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills — with the ability to influence and build consensus across diverse teams
• Demonstrated leadership capability, including the ability to coach, mentor, and develop project teams
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think both strategically and tactically
• Advanced proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and reporting practices
• Experience managing other Project Managers or large project teams
• Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or other highly regulated industries
