About the role
The Senior Project Manager oversees projects ranging from $60M to $150M, collaborating with the Senior Superintendent to ensure successful project delivery. This role involves managing budgets, overseeing safety protocols, and coordinating with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Supervise project teams and ensure project profitability
- Manage project cash flow and prepare monthly reconciliation reports
- Develop and maintain project schedules and ensure adherence to P6 and CMiC
- Collaborate with the Estimating Department and prepare bid packages
- Handle claims and resolve disputes with subcontractors
- Manage subcontractor and supplier relationships
- Train and mentor project team members
- Lead project meetings and ensure compliance with contract requirements
Requirements
- Four-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 10-15 years of relevant project management experience
- Advanced understanding of scheduling, CMiC, and Excel applications
- Proficiency in P6 and CMiC applications
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Physical ability to perform construction-related duties
Qualifications
- Knowledge of various construction delivery methods and market sectors
- Experience with Microsoft Project or P6 Scheduling Software
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- First Aid and CPR certification
