Senior Project Manager

About the role

The Senior Project Manager oversees projects ranging from $60M to $150M, collaborating with the Senior Superintendent to ensure successful project delivery. This role involves managing budgets, overseeing safety protocols, and coordinating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise project teams and ensure project profitability
• Manage project cash flow and prepare monthly reconciliation reports
• Develop and maintain project schedules and ensure adherence to P6 and CMiC
• Collaborate with the Estimating Department and prepare bid packages
• Handle claims and resolve disputes with subcontractors
• Manage subcontractor and supplier relationships
• Train and mentor project team members
• Lead project meetings and ensure compliance with contract requirements

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 10-15 years of relevant project management experience
• Advanced understanding of scheduling, CMiC, and Excel applications
• Proficiency in P6 and CMiC applications
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Physical ability to perform construction-related duties

Qualifications

• Knowledge of various construction delivery methods and market sectors
• Experience with Microsoft Project or P6 Scheduling Software
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• First Aid and CPR certification
