Job Description

The Trapeze EAM business unit is part of Modaxo’s transit portfolio, within Constellation Software Inc. Trapeze EAM designs and deploys best-in-class technologies in enterprise asset management. Trapeze EAM’s transit-focused solutions help customers transform their business by optimizing maintenance workflows and enabling them to stay on top of regulatory compliance. Trapeze EAM enables transit customers to track and maintain assets in the areas of rolling stock, facilities, and linear/maintenance-of-way. The Trapeze EAM business is growing significantly. We are Trapeze EAM, a leader in enterprise asset management software, and we need a Senior Project Manager for our team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage assigned contracts, service agreements, and projects from initiation through closeout with a high degree of autonomy, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk objectives are achieved.
  • Plan, organize, and execute complex EAM software delivery and implementation projects involving internal teams, customer stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, quality, goals, and deliverables in alignment with business objectives, proactively advising stakeholders on impacts to cost, schedule, and outcomes.
  • Develop, maintain, and actively manage detailed project schedules, forecasts, and cost performance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead change management by assessing impacts, guiding customers and internal teams through decisions, and ensuring changes are clearly documented, approved, and communicated.
  • Maintain and actively manage project risk registers, ensuring early visibility of risks with clear mitigation strategies, ownership, and follow-through.
  • Facilitate regular project status meetings with customers, ensuring clear communication of progress, risks, dependencies, and next steps.
  • Celebrate executive-level steering meetings with customer leadership and internal executive sponsors.
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability and escalation for project delivery, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and challenges, and leading resolution efforts.
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and escalation point for key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of software and hardware implementation activities, including the mechanics of deployment, integration, and customer adoption.
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver executive-ready reporting, proposals, requirements documentation, issue logs, action item registers, and presentations, as required.
  • Contribute to the development, improvement, and standardization of project management processes, tools, and best practices across the organization.
  • Lead project postmortems and implementation reviews, producing actionable recommendations and lessons learned.
  • Manage requirement compliance matrices and other governance artifacts to ensure contractual obligations and delivery commitments are clearly tracked and met.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a vendor-based Project Manager in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent engagements with diverse system, contractual, and customer requirements.
  • 5+ years of experience in consulting, business analysis, software delivery, or systems integration environments.
  • Proven ability to independently lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects from initiation through closeout.
  • Experience managing software delivery or systems integration projects under Fixed Price and Time & Materials models.
  • Strong consulting, business analysis, stakeholder facilitation, and executive communication skills.
  • PMP certification preferred, or actively working toward certification.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with Smartsheet or comparable project management tools.
  • Experience working in Enterprise Asset Management, transit technology, or a related software delivery environment.
