Senior Project Manager
About the role
The Sr. Project Manager (PM) is responsible for leading large and complex capital projects across Chemours sites worldwide. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse, high-impact initiatives while collaborating with teams globally. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline, 10+ years of capital project management experience, and 5+ years in a chemical plant environment. Key responsibilities include identifying engineering resources, managing project scope, controlling costs, and driving project processes.
Responsibilities
- Identify Chemours engineering and design resources
- Secure and ensure adequate engineering contractor staffing
- Audit quality plans and ensure engineering productivity
- Prepare project scopes of work, estimates, funding requests, and schedules
- Develop production design basis
- Communicate effectively with the engineering team
- Manage project scope changes and stay within budget
- Lead and manage engineering processes as outlined in the Chemours Project System
- Facilitate problem-solving sessions throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with design standards and agreements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline
- 10+ years managing capital projects
- 5+ years working with chemical plant environments
- 5+ years of field construction or contract management experience
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience with engineering/design contractors
- Knowledge of project scheduling software and smart engineering/design tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel up to 40%
Qualifications
- Preferred: Direct report supervisory experience, plant operations/maintenance experience

Pay
Pay range: $141,120.00 - $220,500.00
