Senior Project Manager
Position Summary
As a Senior Software Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of digital solutions for STERIS, engaging project stakeholders and product owners. You will coordinate the planning and end-to-end orchestration of IT projects, working with Customer and Internal stakeholders to build connected, intelligent environments across the healthcare and surgical supply chain markets. You will lead multiple teams of technical and sector experts, collaborating closely to define timelines and resource plans, and focus on delivering projects on time and to budget.
What You'll Do
- Control and communicate project scope, define success criteria, and use data-driven approaches to keep the team focused on success.
- Proactively manage projects, ensuring effective planning and scheduling of project resources to deliver projects within time and budget constraints.
- Prepare realistic and achievable project plans, actively monitor progress, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Maintain excellent communication channels with customers and stakeholders, facilitating negotiation when required.
- Take leadership of the continuous improvement of the project governance process through inspection and adaptation.
- Own the end-to-end delivery process, managing revisions to project scope through an agreed change process.
- Identify opportunities for increasing customer satisfaction, process improvement, and efficiency.
- Track and report project time and cost metrics, highlighting deviations and risks.
- Prepare project status reports for consumption by internal and external stakeholders.
The Experience, Skills And Abilities Needed
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- PMP Certification preferred
- 5+ years experience in software delivery or related consultancy
- Strong project management methodology knowledge and proficiency
- Proven track record in successfully guiding large technical teams to deliver software solutions within cost, quality, and time constraints
- In-depth understanding of the entire Software Development Life Cycle
- Familiarity with object-oriented design principles is a distinct advantage

Pay Range
Pay range for this opportunity is $107,525.00 - $139,150.00. This position is eligible for bonus participation. Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
