About the role
This is a Senior Project Manager in Major Project Delivery position within the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT).
Responsibilities
- Serves as a primary point of contact and is responsible for overall work progress and technical performance of project.
- Engages and communicates information with internal and external stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Plans project scope and schedule consistent with the project development process.
- Establishes and manages project budget with the understanding of all financial implications/issues.
- Delegates work, sets clear direction, and manages workflow.
- Provides feedback, guidance, and develops employee skillsets.
- Identifies potential risks and associated risk management plans.
- Recruits, selects, onboards, and trains employees.
Requirements
- Successful completion of Purdue’s Project Management Essentials Course within 12 to 24 months of employment.
- At least 8 years of project management experience applying the outlined knowledge, skills, and abilities in a similar role.
- Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of project management experience.

Pay
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $75,010.00 but may be commensurate with education and work experience.
Schedule
The position is located at INDOT's Central Office.
