Senior Project Manager

About the role

Skanska is searching for a dynamic Senior Project Manager to oversee the overall project direction of large, complex and/or multiple projects that have Project Management Teams. You will be instrumental in assembling these teams and ensuring a smooth transition from the estimate/pre-construction phase to construction, including design management if applicable, to protect the bid position. The role involves planning, budgeting, organizing, implementing, and scheduling projects to ensure timely and cost-effective outcomes. You are responsible for ensuring the project/area is constructed in a safe, ethical manner, and in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall project direction of large, complex, and/or multiple projects with Project Management Teams.
• Assemble and manage project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Plan, budget, organize, implement, and schedule projects to meet cost and timeline goals.
• Ensure a smooth transition from estimate/pre-construction to construction, including design management where applicable.
• Maintain or exceed planned profit targets for projects.
• Create and maintain a culture of safety, quality assurance, and control.
• Develop and manage successful teams.
• Ensure projects are constructed in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Requirements

• 6+ years of proven track record assuring client satisfaction.
• 6+ years of delivering on-time projects.
• 6+ years of experience maintaining or exceeding planned profit targets for projects.
• 6+ years of creating and maintaining a culture of safety.
• 6+ years of experience developing a culture of quality assurance and control.
• 6+ years of managing and developing successful teams.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
