Senior Project Manager
Job Description
Select Chemistry’s Sr. Project Manager will drive capital projects with safety, quality, and efficiency at the forefront. Responsibilities include managing onsite personnel, overseeing project execution from conception to commissioning, and coordinating with various stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management (Preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in capital projects, maintenance, reliability, or related engineering fields
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite – Excel, Word, Outlook and query tools
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage change effectively
- Change promoter with the ability to motivate others
- Hands-on attitude to get things done
- Desired Experience: 5-10 years of Project Management experience, Proficient in mechanical and electrical layouts, CAD Experience, and/or ability to read drawings
Qualifications
- Strong technical background in chemical plant environments
- Working knowledge of relevant standards for mechanical equipment
- Experience in managing third-party services and contractors
- Proficiency in cost estimation and budgeting
- Ability to identify, evaluate, and implement process improvements
- Experience in conducting PSSR and MOC meetings
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Schedule
Monday – Sunday, overtime as required (24hr business operations). Involves sitting at a desk for extended periods of time. Needs high degree of concentration in a busy area. Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
