About the role
The Senior Project Manager at SchoolsFirst FCU leads and manages large scale and complex organizational projects to ensure goals or objectives are met. They also play a lead role in the development of the PMO strategic plan, execution, policies, models, and performance measures.
Responsibilities
- Leads the day-to-day management of projects from concept to implementation.
- Builds and sustains relationships with stakeholders at various levels of the organization, including executive level.
- Manages project scope by assessing requirements changes, determining impact on budget, time, and risk.
- Documents progress and archives project activities, deliverables, tools, and findings for future projects.
- Works directly with business units to understand project concepts, objectives, and scope.
- Designs, documents, and analyzes division workflows, business rules, activities, and trends.
- Solicits information through interviews, meetings, and existing reporting mechanisms.
- Presents actionable recommendations to management for consideration.
- Clarifies, identifies, and tracks requirements and issues, removes barriers, resolves minor project issues, and escalates to manager where required.
- Coaches and mentors project managers and assists them in solving problems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience required.
- 5-7 years of experience in business analysis, project management, or lending operations required.
- PMP certification required.
- Six Sigma certification preferred.
- PMO leadership preferred.
- ServiceNow preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Working knowledge and understanding of computer software and applications used to support report development and analysis (e.g. SQL, Crystal Reports, Excel), and presentation software (e.g. Visio, Microsoft Project, and PowerPoint).
- Strong experience in developing business requirements and process workflows.
- Experience managing 2 to 3 organizational projects at a time.
- Microsoft Visio required.
- Financial industry experience preferred.
- Strong quantitative, analytic, and project management skills.
- Member/Customer Experience and/or Journey Mapping experience preferred.
- Prior experience and a solid understanding of Scrum/Agile and traditional project management methodologies and practices.
Pay
The typical new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their unique set of knowledge, skills, education, and experience as well as internal equity. Pay Range: $112,185.00 - $179,496.00
