Senior Project Manager
About the role
This position manages enterprise data and services, Change the Business (CTB) releases for large and/or multiple projects including Regulatory, Wealth Management, PCG, Data Science and Architecture initiatives with significant impact on business processes and technology used firm wide. It influences strategic direction and develops tactical plans with substantial latitude.
Responsibilities
- Conducts preliminary investigation for all project requests by reviewing requirements and specifications and testing and by reviewing support and training plans to ensure they are aligned with organizational priorities, business plans and objectives.
- Provides a proactive interface between project stakeholders and senior management team to ensure complete and accurate definitions of business requirements and delivery of business applications.
- Identifies, defines and documents complex business and technical requirements, processes and deliverables.
- Develops, prepares, presents and maintains project plans, including staffing requirements, cost estimates, detailed budgets and work breakdown structures and schedules.
- Performs project risk assessments, including identifying key risk factors, providing effective mitigation strategies and assigning contingency action plans to both schedules and budgets.
- Delivers systems on appropriate platforms in compliance with established technology standards, including monitoring testing, executing quality assurance checks and ensuring information technology acceptance criteria is met prior to implementation.
- Manages all aspects of the project budget including creating and maintaining resource allocations and actively tracking costs to the approved budget.
- Applies established project methodologies to manage projects: uses change control templates and processes, manages time and recording activities using defined scheduling tools, monitors budgets, and coordinates resource acquisition and utilization.
- Partners with other functional areas to accomplish objectives.
- Proficient in Agile methodologies and can work with TFS (Azure DevOps) to create and manage Sprints, queries and dashboards.
- Capable to handling large cross-functional teams, guide the teams through Agile Sprints, conduct and manage Agile ceremonies.

- Monitoring budgets; coordinating resource acquisition and utilization
- Maintaining precise documentation/artifacts required as part of PMO and Internal Audit
- Serving as a liaison with internal customers and external suppliers
- Communicating regularly with project stakeholders.
Skills
- Knowledge of the following:
- Application development and project life cycle methodologies and standards
- Agile Methodologies
- Project selection and approvals; budgeting and business case preparation and analysis; and project initiation and planning, including work breakdown structures and forecasting
- Experience managing large complex release cycles highly preferred
- Concepts of risk management, issue tracking, change management and requirements gathering
- Information technology support and technical documentation
- Principles of banking and finance and securities industry operations
- Business planning and analysis
- MS Project Azure DevOps (TFS)
- SmartSheets
- Project budget interfaces with other accounting systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s: Business Administration, High School (HS)

The total compensation for this position includes base salary or wages, and may include components such as additional compensation (cash or equity), discretionary bonuses, or commissions.
