Senior Project Manager

What is the Opportunity?

RBC Bank Georgia, N.A. is a US subsidiary of Royal Bank of Canada dedicated to providing banking services to Canadians in the United States. The bank offers solutions like linking Canadian and US banking accounts, performing cross-border transfers, and leveraging Canadian credit standing for US loans.

What will you do?

• Plan and execute projects with high value/cost and complexity, ensuring operational effectiveness and adherence to EPDR and PMO standards.
• Manage project scope, requirements change, and multiple demands, prioritizing tasks and communicating impact on budget, time, and risk.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, manage financial processes, and develop reporting for senior leadership.
• Document project artifacts, identify and manage project costs, and raise and track issues.
• Facilitate schedule and cost forecasting, mentor project managers, and oversee project closure.
• Implement organizational change management processes, assess degree of change, and manage related risks.
• Communicate project status to executives, stakeholders, and business units, and manage project communications.
• Manage project communications, provide senior management updates, and recommend external vendors.
• Ensure projects follow established standards and meet audit requirements.
• Engage with RBC-specific regulatory, compliance, finance, operational risk, and supplier management processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Project Management processes and procedures.

Must-have Experience

• Managing programs with high value and complexity.
• Advanced program management skills including schedule management, change management, status management, risk, and issue management.
• Expert facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
• Advanced time management and communication skills.
• Experience with key delivery tools like Planview, MS Project, Jira, Leankit, Confluence.
• Advanced communication skills, including presentation and verbal/written communication.
• Experience with strategic project execution and problem resolution.
• Experience developing project-level objectives and key results.

Nice to Have

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) designation.
• Project Management Professional/Program Management Professional (PMP/PGMP) designation.
