Job Duties
- Maintain the project equipment list per the project procedure
- Work closely with the customer after the sale to ensure a successful project
- Responsible for communicating the financial status of all assigned projects with management
- Develop and coordinate project schedules with engineering, design, manufacturing, and vendors utilizing the approved methods and tools
- Ensure all project invoices are sent on time, and payment is received in a timely manner
- Communicate with the project team to meet the project schedule, budget, or customer requirements
- Answer for all budget deviations on assigned projects
- Direct Junior Project Managers on all project related functions
- Assist and provide input as needed to Project Managers on complex problems or equipment clarifications
- Oversee the project equipment list and requisition the purchase of all required items for an assigned project
- Control P&ID internal workflow and review project P&IDs per the application/sales and process engineer's design
- Submittal requests of all project drawings to the customer, engineering, and manufacturing
Requirements
- B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering from an accredited four-year university
- 10 years project engineering or project management experience
- A background with industrial process heating systems, or related equipment
- The ability to coordinate and organize a project engineering team to obtain a common goal
- Advanced communication skills both technically and commercially are required
- Must have the ability to utilize resources to enhance the performance of the assigned project group
- Must be proficient with computers and modern mobile communication methods
