Senior Project Manager

Job Duties

• Maintain the project equipment list per the project procedure
• Work closely with the customer after the sale to ensure a successful project
• Responsible for communicating the financial status of all assigned projects with management
• Develop and coordinate project schedules with engineering, design, manufacturing, and vendors utilizing the approved methods and tools
• Ensure all project invoices are sent on time, and payment is received in a timely manner
• Communicate with the project team to meet the project schedule, budget, or customer requirements
• Answer for all budget deviations on assigned projects
• Direct Junior Project Managers on all project related functions
• Assist and provide input as needed to Project Managers on complex problems or equipment clarifications
• Oversee the project equipment list and requisition the purchase of all required items for an assigned project
• Control P&ID internal workflow and review project P&IDs per the application/sales and process engineer's design
• Submittal requests of all project drawings to the customer, engineering, and manufacturing

Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering from an accredited four-year university
• 10 years project engineering or project management experience
• A background with industrial process heating systems, or related equipment
• The ability to coordinate and organize a project engineering team to obtain a common goal
• Advanced communication skills both technically and commercially are required
• Must have the ability to utilize resources to enhance the performance of the assigned project group
• Must be proficient with computers and modern mobile communication methods
