Senior Project Manager
About the role
Moser Consulting is seeking a Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This position plays a critical role in aligning projects with client objectives and ensuring the highest standards of delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle from concept to completion, leading diverse teams and navigating industry complexities.
- Actively listen to client needs and feedback to tailor project strategies and ensure alignment with client goals.
- Implement rigorous quality control processes to maintain excellence in delivery.
- Proactively identify and manage potential risks to prevent disruptions and ensure project timelines and budgets.
- Lead strategic communications for major projects, ensuring consistent and aligned messaging with organizational and client objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Organize and chair high-level meetings, steering committees, and workshops to manage stakeholders effectively.
- Develop and lead mentoring programs to support the professional development of less experienced Project Managers.
- Engage directly with prospective clients during pitch presentations, demonstrating leadership and deep understanding of project challenges and solutions.
- Oversee the risk assessment and mitigation strategies included in proposals, ensuring they are realistic and tailored to specific client contexts.
- Establish and govern project management standards and practices for the organization.
- Act as a senior advisor on project management to executive leadership, providing insights and guidance on best practices and strategic approaches.
- Represent the organization in high-stakes negotiations, leveraging extensive experience and strategic insights to secure major contracts.
- Cultivate a culture of excellence in project management, guiding the professional growth of project managers and defining pathways for advancement.
- Make strategic decisions that influence the direction for our customers and their projects.
- Represent project management at the executive level, influencing strategies and leading major change initiatives.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
- PMP Certification (Project Management Professional)
- Experience directing multiple complex projects concurrently or leading large-scale programs that span various functions within the client organization.
- Ability to enhance project management frameworks to increase efficiency and effectiveness of project delivery.
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to lead strategic planning sessions and make key decisions affecting project direction and execution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in leading and engaging with key stakeholders.
- Experience organizing and chairing high-level meetings, steering committees, and workshops.
- Proficiency in developing and leading mentoring programs to support the professional development of less experienced Project Managers.
- Experience engaging directly with prospective clients during pitch presentations, demonstrating leadership and deep understanding of project challenges and solutions.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should have:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project management, preferably with a PMI-PMP certification.
- Proven experience managing multiple complex projects and leading large-scale programs.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse teams.
- Experience in developing and leading mentoring programs to support the professional development of less experienced Project Managers.
- Experience engaging directly with prospective clients during pitch presentations, demonstrating leadership and deep understanding of project challenges and solutions.
- Experience overseeing the risk assessment and mitigation strategies included in proposals, ensuring they are realistic and tailored to specific client contexts.

Schedule
Hybrid/Onsite Schedule available out of our Castleton or downtown Indianapolis office, or work remotely, depending on the client needs.
