Senior Project Manager

What You'll Do

• Lead commercial and industrial mechanical construction projects from award through final completion.
• Serve as the Bid Captain during estimating, turnover, and project startup.
• Participate in estimate reviews and provide constructability recommendations.
• Identify prefabrication opportunities and project efficiencies.
• Lead internal bid review meetings to ensure complete and accurate project estimates.
• Develop and execute project plans for both office and field operations.
• Prepare contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and project documentation.
• Manage project schedules, schedule of values, budgets, and financial performance.
• Cook up preconstruction planning and participate in project meetings.
• Prepare and negotiate change orders.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and project documentation.
• Prepare monthly owner pay applications and manage project billings.
• Monitor project costs, collections, retainage, and profitability.
• Select and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
• Review and approve invoices for labor, materials, and subcontractors.
• Cook up manpower, equipment, and procurement activities.
• Oversee project quality control and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Promote and enforce OSHA and company safety standards.
• Mentor Assistant Project Managers and support project team development.

What You Bring

• 8-10 years of Project Management experience in commercial or industrial construction.
• Experience managing mechanical construction projects involving HVAC, piping, plumbing, or industrial systems.
• A strong understanding of project scheduling, estimating, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration.
• The ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
• A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• The ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Experience with Design-Build mechanical construction projects.

• This position is primarily office-based with regular visits to active commercial and industrial construction sites.
• Candidates should be comfortable working in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to noise, dust, moving equipment, and outdoor weather.
• The role requires standing, walking, climbing, bending, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds while navigating active jobsites.
