What You'll Do
- Lead commercial and industrial mechanical construction projects from award through final completion.
- Serve as the Bid Captain during estimating, turnover, and project startup.
- Participate in estimate reviews and provide constructability recommendations.
- Identify prefabrication opportunities and project efficiencies.
- Lead internal bid review meetings to ensure complete and accurate project estimates.
- Develop and execute project plans for both office and field operations.
- Prepare contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and project documentation.
- Manage project schedules, schedule of values, budgets, and financial performance.
- Cook up preconstruction planning and participate in project meetings.
- Prepare and negotiate change orders.
- Review shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and project documentation.
- Prepare monthly owner pay applications and manage project billings.
- Monitor project costs, collections, retainage, and profitability.
- Select and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
- Review and approve invoices for labor, materials, and subcontractors.
- Cook up manpower, equipment, and procurement activities.
- Oversee project quality control and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Promote and enforce OSHA and company safety standards.
- Mentor Assistant Project Managers and support project team development.
What You Bring
- 8-10 years of Project Management experience in commercial or industrial construction.
- Experience managing mechanical construction projects involving HVAC, piping, plumbing, or industrial systems.
- A strong understanding of project scheduling, estimating, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration.
- The ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- The ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience with Design-Build mechanical construction projects.

- This position is primarily office-based with regular visits to active commercial and industrial construction sites.
- Candidates should be comfortable working in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to noise, dust, moving equipment, and outdoor weather.
- The role requires standing, walking, climbing, bending, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds while navigating active jobsites.
