The client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale electrical construction projects in the Salt Lake City market.
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned electrical construction professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience managing complex commercial or mission-critical projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Cook up with general contractors, owners, engineers, and subcontractors
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Involvement in project management, construction management, budget management, contract management, time management, planning and organizing, team management, negotiation, and risk management
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role in the construction industry
- A strong understanding of electrical systems and construction processes
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple project stakeholders
- Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and cost control
- A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- The ability to lead and manage electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Experience in coordinating with general contractors, owners, engineers, and subcontractors
- The ability to identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Strong skills in project management, construction management, budget management, contract management, time management, planning and organizing, team management, negotiation, and risk management
- A team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure
- A keen eye for detail and a dedication to delivering high-quality work on every project
