Senior Project Manager

About the role

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. They design, implement, and manage operational plans, monitor progress, and address operational issues to minimize delays.

Responsibilities

• Designs and communicates operational plans for project completion
• Maintains project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
• Selects project staff and external contractors
• Communicates project status to other operational areas
• Allocates tasks and coordinates project staff
• Manages project resources and contributes to department strategy

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of technical experience
• Previous Project Management experience
• Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences

Qualifications

• Resides in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, or Illinois
• Self-provided internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds
• Works from a dedicated space to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
• Occasional travel to Humana’s offices for training or meetings

Skills

Technical expertise, strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, leadership, and resource management skills are essential.

Pay and Schedule

The pay range for this position is $86,300 - $118,700 per year. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.

Schedule

This is a remote position, with occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings.
