Senior Project Manager

About the role

As a Senior Project Manager at E2 Optics, you will serve as an ambassador for the company, overseeing all aspects of assigned projects from initiation to closing. You will supervise and direct project resources to deliver value effectively and consistently to the customer, ensuring strategic alignment and execution of corporate operational processes. Your role will drive the timely delivery of safely completed project work that exceeds quality expectations and complies with contract documents, schedule, and budget.

Responsibilities

• Align business objectives, strategically plan, and proactively allocate resources to support customers within a holistic risk and safety management program.
• Manage assigned projects in accordance with a schedule that meets or exceeds performance expectations.
• Effectively manage subcontractor/vendor performance to ensure compliant project delivery.
• Implement installation strategies leveraging industry best practices to complete projects on schedule and within budget.
• Identify change events and implement change management best practices.
• Promote company Core Values to foster a family-centric culture.
• Travel: This position generally requires overnight travel. You should be able and willing to travel as required by E2 Optics.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BS in Project Management or Construction Management. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience managing structured cabling and integrated systems projects.
• Experience managing multiple contractual types: lump sum, cost plus/GMP, unit price, design-build/design-assist, time, and material.
• BICSI RCDD, BICSI RTPM, or PMP certification preferred.
• Other BICSI Certifications (Installer, Technician, etc.) are a plus.
• Knowledge of construction technology platforms, quality, and safety standards.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The standard work environment for this position is an indoor business office and construction environment. The noise level is usually moderate. This role requires:

• Sitting, use of hands and arms, and verbal communication.
• Occasional physical movement such as stooping or kneeling.
• Frequent standing and walking.
• Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 40 pounds and frequently lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
• Regularly carrying and climbing ladders up to 20 feet.
• Ability to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs (buggies) if required.
• Potential work in tight and confined spaces.
