Responsibilities
- Ensure construction project objectives are met by specified date and within budget by effectively planning, directing, and coordinating activities
- Proven track record in successfully managing projects in carpentry, drywall or general construction desired
- Review project plans and specs to determine time frame, budget parameters, field staffing requirements and allotment of available resources for the various phases of the project
- Discuss and establish work plan outline with staff; assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority and provide technical advice/trouble-shooting
- Direct and coordinate activities to ensure project is on schedule and within budgeted scope; review status reports prepared by staff and make changes where needed
- Communicate with customers to develop sales opportunities and/or solve problems
- Work with submittals, permits, close outs, and ordering parts.
- Responsible for financial success of projects
- Additional company projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
- Project Management or Estimating experience within the construction industry preferred
- Must have Excel or other spreadsheet software and Word or Word Processing software experience
- Must have proven experience in a fast paced environment, juggling a lot of responsibility, with keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills are a must
- Must possess a Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
