Responsibilities
- Advocate for MTA’s interests across multiple concurrent infrastructure and development projects in Willets Point.
- Track design progress, stakeholder relationships, and project interdependencies across current and future initiatives.
- Monitor project status and proactively identify upcoming milestones, risks, and key decision points.
- Cookordination and access specialized engineering, architectural, and planning resources as needed.
- Develop and communicate MTA’s position on physical improvements, long-term planning strategies, and cost considerations.
- Prepare conceptual design documentation, cost estimates, and technical materials supporting project strategy.
- Provide technical planning support and review for ongoing projects.
- Develop presentations, maps, illustrations, and written reports to communicate project updates and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal and external project partners to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
- Perform additional project management and planning support tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field with 8+ years of experience, OR Advanced degree in a related discipline with 5+ years of experience.
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
- Demonstrated experience managing major construction or infrastructure projects.
- Experience working with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors on complex programs.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience collaborating across multiple stakeholders.
- Able to manage competing priorities and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of reports and presentations.
- Strong team-building, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Primavera in a Windows-based environment.
Pay

This range reflects the company's good faith estimate of the compensation for this position at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location.

Schedule
This position will be based at MTA Headquarters in Manhattan, with occasional visits to field locations as needed.
