Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and direct the work of several projects in the coordination of efforts of the various functions (engineering, quality, document control, purchasing, fabrication, warehouse, shipping/logistics, etc.) and client needs
- Analyze purchase order and coordinate with client representative to determine best approach
- Isolate potential problem areas and develop plan for solution
- Prepare change orders, cost estimates and schedules
- Maintain coordination with all functions (engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, etc.) to assure timeliness, efficiency and high quality of work
- Review, monitor and maintain monthly project schedules, budgets and operating reports
- Prepare invoice requests in a timely manner
- Expedite receipt of invoice payments from clients
- Maintain liaison with client representative to assure project is progressing satisfactorily
- Maintain project files on current projects
- Prepare lessons learned and post-project review materials, maintaining and organizing project files, records, and documentation, preparing project status reports, meeting minutes, and action item lists
- Ensure all project documentation is current and stored according to company policies
- Avoidance of project closeout processes, ensuring that all documentation is complete and accurate
- Identify and improve processes for continuous improvement
- Influence clients decisions such that it is consistent with overall good engineering and manufacturing practices
- Review work for adherence to company standards of excellence and compliance with clients requirements
- Ensure timely shipment
- Review designs for most cost effective means of fabrication

Education
- Experience
- 10 years in engineering, designing, or manufacturing of air-cooled heat exchangers or 5 years’ experience with a master’s in Engineering, Design or Manufacturing of air-cooled heat exchangers
- At least two years of experience in project management and scheduling, including familiarity with the Critical Path Method (CPM)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project, PowerBI, WorkDay, SmartSheet, JDE, SAP, Primavera P6 is preferred
