Job Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to project teams, promoting accountability, collaboration, and high performance
- Lead full lifecycle management of civil site projects, including residential, municipal, commercial, and mixed-use developments for public and private clients
- Oversee project planning, execution, and coordination to ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, and specifications
- Manage subcontractor selection and performance based on qualifications, experience, and cost-effectiveness
- Monitor project progress, KPIs, and financials, and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and legal requirements
- Manage all project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and change orders
- Conduct and lead project meetings to maintain communication and resolve issues
- Identify risks and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track
- Support business development efforts and maintain relationships with clients and partners
- Collaborate with leadership on staffing needs and resource planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering preferred, but not required
- 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager - MANDATORY!
- Proven ability to develop and execute project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and procurement strategies
- Experience overseeing construction operations to ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and schedules
- Strong background in contractor and subcontractor selection based on qualifications, experience, and cost efficiency
- Able to track project performance, monitor KPIs, and communicate progress to stakeholders
- Knowledge of safety regulations and regulatory compliance, with a strong commitment to maintaining safe job sites
- Experience managing project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and change orders
- Strong communication skills with experience leading project meetings and resolving field and project challenges
- Able to provide clear and consistent reporting on project status, including schedules, budgets, risks, and milestones
- Demonstrated ability to enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with applicable building codes and regulations
- Experience evaluating project performance and implementing process improvements
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide teams and promote a collaborative, high-performance work environment
