About the role
The Senior Project Manager oversees large scale, multi-phased AV systems integration projects. They ensure projects meet time, scope, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction requirements. Key responsibilities include coordinating project activities, managing resources, communicating with stakeholders, and maintaining project budgets.
Responsibilities
- Comply with AVI-SPL standard processes and procedures.
- Create and manage comprehensive work breakdown structures and project schedules.
- Facilitate and conduct internal and external project kick-off meetings.
- Respond to customer communications and provide job progress reports.
- Order and manage equipment and materials, and oversee testing and certification of installed systems.
- Manage change orders and quality of work performed by internal and subcontracted resources.
- Ensure closeout documentation and maintain relationships with customers.
- Communicate effectively with project team and drive project results.
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support the team and organization.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager in Audio Visual, Construction, Technology or related industries.
- Valid Project Management Professional® (PMP) / PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
- AVIXA General CTS certification.
- Ability to creatively problem solve and analyze complex problems.
- Leadership qualities and experience to mentor fellow Project Management team members.
- Understand revenue, cost, and margin aspects of project management including earned value management.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve project-related issues, manage budgets, and manage large-scale/high-dollar projects.
- Time management skills with attention to detail.
- Accurately read technical, contractual, and construction-related documents.
- Ability to travel to various job sites as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Legal authorization to drive and provide proof of coverage for a valid driver's license and insurance.
- Eligibility to obtain formal approved clearances (Government or system specific) if required.

Pay
Base salary range: $121k - $160k. Actual compensation depends on experience, skills, and location.
Schedule
Work hours may vary based on client requirements and may include travel to various locations in support of the account.
