Senior Project Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing complex cross-functional projects supporting the continued development and process improvement of the organization. They will manage project implementations, obtain requirements, evaluate and determine objectives, goals, and scope of multiple complex projects, and overcome barriers.

Essential Functions

• Project management excellence that includes appropriate scoping, tracking, resource management, reporting, risk management and issue escalation.
• Create and maintain project plans.
• Provide regular project status reports and executive summaries.
• Evaluate Project performance.
• Ensure Stakeholder Satisfaction.
• Develops clear and complete handover to the department who will manage the project/program going forward, where appropriate.
• Organizes and maintains timelines for all projects.
• Facilitates project meetings, prompts responsible staff to adhere to timelines for projects.
• Covers meetings, records minutes.
• Performs documentation management for all assigned projects.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or health-related field required
• Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
• 5+ years of large-scale full-cycle project management required
• Experience/knowledge of Healthcare Industry Business Or Clinical Required
• Experience in project management methodologies
• Advanced knowledge of all MS Office applications, including MS Visio

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Ambulatory Surgery Center setting
• Lean Six Sigma Certification or Agile Certification
