Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of a complex revenue lifecycle replacement project.
- Cook up activities among vendors, consultants, IT teams, and business stakeholders.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and deliverables.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Manage vendor performance and track progress using defined metrics.
- Prepare and deliver executive-level project status reports and presentations.
- Oversee day-to-day project execution across multiple workstreams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with executive leadership, business stakeholders, project sponsors, technology teams, vendors, and suppliers.
- Collaborate with technology leads and solution architects to incorporate organizational best practices into project planning and execution.
- Drive project delivery throughout the full lifecycle, including procurement, planning, execution, risk management, scope management, and transition to operations.
- Ensure compliance with established project management standards, governance, and reporting requirements.
- Facilitate the resolution of technical and business issues impacting project success.
- Lead project scoping, requirements gathering, estimation, and planning activities.
Required Skills
- Extensive experience managing large, high-risk, complex IT implementation projects.
- Strong project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management skills.
- Experience managing third-party vendors and consulting partners.
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Strong risk, issue, and change management experience.
- Experience presenting project updates to senior leadership.
- Hands-on approach to project execution and delivery.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing revenue lifecycle, revenue cycle, or enterprise business systems.
- Experience working within government or public-sector environments.
- Familiarity with formal project management governance frameworks.
- Experience coordinating enterprise technology implementations involving multiple vendors and internal teams.
