Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of engineering initiatives from intake through release, including planning, execution, tracking, and closure.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, dependencies, and milestones across multiple engineering teams.
• Ensure delivery aligns to defined scope, timelines, quality expectations, and organizational standards.
• Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies; drive mitigation plans and escalation as needed.
• Serve as the primary delivery partner to Engineering leads, Product Managers, Architects, and QA.
• Facilitate alignment across teams, ensuring priorities, dependencies, and commitments are clearly understood.
• Support Agile delivery practices (Scrum) in partnership with engineering and product leadership.
• Facilitate key ceremonies as needed (planning, backlog refinement, roadmap review, retrospectives).
• Ensure work is properly tracked in approved systems (e.g., Jira, PPM Pro) with accurate status and forecasts.
• Provide clear, concise, and regular status reporting to stakeholders, leadership, and sponsors.
• Communicate delivery progress, risks, tradeoffs, and impacts in a transparent and actionable manner.
• Support release readiness activities and governance processes as required.
• Track and forecast delivery timelines, capacity, and resource needs.
• Ensure adherence to internal processes related to security, compliance, change management, and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Technology, Business, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in project or program management within a technology or engineering environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing delivery across engineering teams building software or platforms.
• Strong understanding of Agile and SDLC methodologies.
• Experience working with tools such as Jira, SmartSheet, SharePoint, PPM Pro, or similar delivery systems.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, complex dependencies, and evolving requirements.

Desired Skills

• Experience working in regulated, security-sensitive, or compliance-driven environments.
• Familiarity with modern software delivery practices.
• Project Management certifications (PMP, PMI ACP, SAFe, or equivalent).
• Experience partnering with distributed or global engineering teams.
