Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Project Management
- Develop and maintain a client base
- Manage HVAC/Plumbing/process sales
- Manage field labor needs for each project in conjunction with field leadership
- Forecast and prepare budget projections
- Control costs within agreed-upon limits
- Provide letters, proposals, memos, contracts, change orders, strategies, etc.
- Bill jobs while maintaining a clear understanding of job costs
- External Client Relations
- Lead client meetings and develop contracts to finalize sales
- Maintain cordial relationships with clients, including vendors, subcontractors, and the industry
- Internal Team Coordination
- Supervise and coordinate all ACCO departmental efforts including Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Construction, and Service during project construction
- Contribute to special studies, committees, etc., to advance ACCO’s technical abilities
- Communicate with internal and external customers
- Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 10+ years of experience in estimating, design, and/or management of HVAC projects from $50,000 to $100+ million
- Ability to operate independently and autonomously
- Demonstrate a high sense of integrity
- Develop new business
- Show strong interpersonal and project management abilities
- Support department initiatives and growth
- Frequent lifting and moving up to 10 pounds
- Occasional lifting and moving up to 25 pounds
- Close and distance vision
- Regular standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling
