Senior Project Manager

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Project Management
• Develop and maintain a client base
• Manage HVAC/Plumbing/process sales
• Manage field labor needs for each project in conjunction with field leadership
• Forecast, prepare budget projections, and control costs within agreed-upon limits
• Provide letters, proposals, memos, contracts, change orders, strategies, etc. for good business procedures and legal protection
• Bill while maintaining a clear understanding of job costs
• External Client Relations
• Leadership of client meetings and development of contracts to finalize sales
• Maintain cordial relationships with all clients, including vendors, subcontractors and the industry
• Internal Team Coordination
• Supervise and coordinate all ACCO departmental efforts including Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Construction and Service during project construction in a timely manner
• Contribute to special studies, committees, etc., to advance ACCO’s technical abilities in engineering, planning, estimating, installation procedures, and related areas
• Communicate with internal and external customers
• Position Requirements
• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 10+ years of experience in estimating, design and/or management of HVAC projects from $50,000 to $100+ million
• Ability to operate independently and autonomously to facilitate goals outlined by your supervisor
• Demonstrate a corresponding high sense of integrity
• Demonstrate experience/ability to develop new business
• Show strong interpersonal and project management abilities, employing strong organizational skills to respond successfully to a high volume of issues
• Maintain a community presence in an industry-based or community-based organization
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
• Experience preferred in Business Systems Software (JDE, IFS, BidTracer, FastEst, Bluebeam, Box, Smartsheet, etc.)

Position Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in estimating, design and/or management of HVAC projects from $50,000 to $100+ million
• Ability to operate independently and autonomously to facilitate goals outlined by your supervisor
• Demonstrate a corresponding high sense of integrity
• Demonstrate experience/ability to develop new business

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Regular and routine attendance
• Typical Hours: Monday to Friday, starting as early as 6:00 am and ending at 7:00 pm
• Varying work in varying locations
