About the role
The Senior Project Manager at ACCO is responsible for developing and maintaining a client base, managing HVAC/Plumbing/process sales, and overseeing field labor needs for each project. This position requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, 10+ years of experience in HVAC projects, and strong project management and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and finalize sales through concept engineering, complete estimates, and direct meetings.
- Oversight of field labor and installation sequencing between ACCO and the customer.
- Forecasting, preparing budget projections, and controlling costs within agreed-upon limits.
- Provide letters, proposals, memos, contracts, change orders, strategies, etc. for business procedures and legal protection.
- Billing and managing job costs.
- Build and manage relationships with internal and external customers.
- Supervise and coordinate ACCO departmental efforts including Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Construction, and Service.
- Contribute to special studies and committees to advance ACCO’s technical abilities.
- Communicate with internal and external customers, including attending meetings and coordinating project meetings.
- Mentor others and participate in recruiting, training, and coaching of sales staff.
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in HVAC projects from $50,000 to $100+ million.
- Ability to operate independently and autonomously.
- Demonstrated experience/ability to develop new business.
- Strong interpersonal and project management abilities.
- Maintain a community presence in an industry-based or community-based organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
- Experience preferred in Business Systems Software (JDE, IFS, BidTracer, FastEst, Bluebeam, Box, Smartsheet, etc.).

Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
- Regular and routine attendance: Monday to Friday, starting as early as 6:00 am and ending at 7:00 pm.
- Varying work in varying locations.
Pay
Competitive wages ranging from $138,030 to $230,050 annually. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location, among others.
