Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Project Management
- Develop and maintain client base
- Manage HVAC/Plumbing/process sales
- Manage field labor needs for each project
- Forecast and prepare budget projections
- Control costs within agreed-upon limits
- Provide letters, proposals, memos, contracts, change orders, strategies, etc.
- Bill projects while maintaining a clear understanding of job costs
- External Client Relations
- Lead client meetings and finalize sales
- Maintain cordial relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
- Internal Team Coordination
- Supervise and coordinate ACCO departmental efforts including Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Construction, and Service
- Contribute to special studies and committees to advance ACCO’s technical abilities
- Communicate with internal ACCO personnel including all Management and Department Heads
- Schedule and coordinate pre-construction job meetings with department heads and supervisors
- Utilize internal resources to meet customer requirements
- Mentor Others
- Mentor sales staff to support department initiatives and growth
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 10+ years of experience in estimating, design, and/or management of HVAC projects from $50,000 to $100+ million
- Ability to operate independently and autonomously
- Demonstrate a high sense of integrity
- Develop new business
- Show strong interpersonal and project management abilities
- Maintain a community presence in an industry-based or community-based organization
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- Experience preferred in Business Systems Software (JDE, IFS, BidTracer, FastEst, Bluebeam, Box, Smartsheet, etc.)
