The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Management Specialist to join the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization supporting the VC-25B program’s Build Integration Integrated Product Team (IPT). BDS is a global leader in the development, production, maintenance and enhancement of fixed-wing and rotary wing aircraft, commercial and government satellites, human spaceflight programs and weapons. Key markets include aeronautics, space and weapons. Core capabilities are in development, production and mission-enabling upgrades of integrated solutions. BDS delivers the most digitally advanced, simply and efficiently produced and intelligently supported solutions to its customers.
Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and peers.
- Leads others and directs all phases of assigned cross-organizational or business unit projects demonstrating proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO standards).
- Oversight and management responsibility (including performance management & reporting) for a portfolio of small to medium size projects in support of organizational goals and objectives.
- Identifies key stakeholder project-specific objectives and requirements.
- Ensures the assigned team is executing the identified and assigned tasks and providing appropriate tracking and reporting per plan.
- Provides in-depth analysis of project culminating with lessons learned and historical reports for incorporation into future project plans.
- Manages Risk, Issues and Opportunities for the assigned projects.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
- 3+ years of experience partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives.
- 3+ years of experience collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data.
- 3+ years of experience with any of the following: Project/Program Management, Procurement, Supplier Program Management, Engineering, Production Engineering, and/or Supplier Quality.
- 3+ years of experience collaborating with Senior level executives and/or project management and/or complex operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM).
- Familiarity with aerospace program management processes and terminology.
- Experience with Lean, Agile, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with RIO (Risks, Issues and Opportunities processes and tools).

Pay
Summary pay range: $118,150 - $159,850. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Schedule

- Occasional travel may be required.
