Senior Project Leader – Bridge Engineer

Responsibilities

• Project oversight and delivery
• Preparation/review of plans and specifications
• Client communications and meetings
• Project coordination with technical quality control and oversight
• Providing conceptual input on the development of design projects
• Preparation of design plans, calculations, details and public bidding documents
• Providing quality control reviews of design
• Proficient in technical writing
• Potential for field review of construction progress at construction milestones

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in civil/structural engineering with 8-12+ years consulting experience in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Maine
• Experience delivering transportation related projects with local and state government agencies in Maine and/or other New England States
• Experience with bridge projects
• Proficiency with Microstation
• Knowledge of Open Roads Designer a plus but not required
• Ability to mentor younger staff

Estimated Pay Range

Estimated Pay Range: $100,000 - $120,000/year. Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
