Senior Project Engineer (Water/Wastewater)
About the role
We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer (Water/Wastewater) who can independently create detailed designs, plans, and specifications for water facilities and infrastructure projects. You will manage and coordinate multi-discipline teams from separate locations, guide complex and multi-disciplinary studies, simulations, and plans, establish new quality standards, and serve as a technical expert.
Responsibilities
- Independently create detailed designs, plans, specifications for water facilities and infrastructure projects
- Manage and coordinate multi-discipline teams from separate locations to produce high level, high quality deliverables
- Guide the planning and execution of complex and multi-disciplinary studies, simulations, and plans for water infrastructure projects
- Take responsibility for engineering/process design, project coordination, determining and writing engineering specifications, planning work, establishing appropriate design methods, report preparation and coordination, equipment sizing and selection, and working directly with our Clients to provide an outstanding delivery experience
- Establish new quality standards and value engineering solutions
- Conduct quality control reviews of deliverables
- Serve as a technical expert with recognized authority in area of one water systems and water infrastructure
- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
- A minimum of 10 years experience with water infrastructure and water related facilities or systems
- Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered
Preferred Qualifications
- Preference is given to candidates local to the New England area
- Ability to make independent decisions and be accountable for the results
- Strong technical background and experience in guiding and formulating one water solutions and managing multi-disciplinary, geographically diverse teams
- Microsoft Office, digital delivery and design platforms, numerical modeling and simulation platforms, workflow augmentation and quality facilitation platforms
- Project Engineering and Project Management experience is necessary

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.)
