Senior Project Engineer I – Control Panels

Responsibilities

• Project Management for new and change projects both Internal and with Suppliers
• Manage complex process, quality, supplier, manufacturing, and component problems
• Analyze pricing issues, suggest ways to reduce costs
• Create quotations for control panels, including labor estimation
• Create and modify manufacturing, packaging, marking, and component drawings
• Control panel design (component selection, enclosure selection, environmental and thermal analysis, power, I/O wiring, and adherence to regulatory standards)
• Designs and documents enclosure modifications and custom mechanical components
• Follows all corporate processes / procedures in an ISO 9001 environment
• Coordinates design reviews between planning, manufacturing, purchasing, and suppliers
• Led or is a member of project teams
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 5 Years of Experience in Electrical or Mechanical engineering
• 3 Years of Project Management
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Knowledgeable and comfortable performing Electrical and Mechanical Engineering tasks, working with vendors
• 2D and 3D CAD experience required
• Experience with UL508A Very Helpful
• EPLAN or AutoCAD electrical experience preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Word and Excel)
