Responsibilities

  • Support the project team and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Aid in preparing estimates for selected projects by reviewing proposal specifications, drawings, takeoff information, and contracting details.
  • Provide technical assistance, interpret drawings, recommend construction methods and equipment, and assist with initiating and maintaining extra work estimating and change orders.
  • Prepare monthly project status reports, forecast cost projections, and track project progress.
  • Lead pre-construction teams as a team leader, offering guidance, direction, and leadership.
  • Maintain project files in a neat and organized manner.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as issuing Owner and Subcontractor agreements, scheduling, managing change orders, producing shop drawings, handling RFI’s, and managing day-to-day correspondence.
  • Prepare necessary and required closeout project documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience.
  • Industry Intern/Co-op experience preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods), including craft agreements, jurisdiction, negotiations, engineering, estimating, schedules, and safety.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Valid Driver's License in good standing.
