About the role
Martin/Martin is seeking an experienced civil senior project engineer to join their Denver, Colorado office. The position offers opportunities for civil design throughout the Front Range of Colorado and nationally. The ideal candidate should be a motivated self-starter with strong technical, project management, and client communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist in master planning and conceptual design.
- Aid in fee determination and proposal preparation.
- Monitor design budgets and project schedules.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with clients, contractors, and other design disciplines.
- Manage multiple engineering projects from start to finish, including oversight of a team of civil engineers and CAD technicians.
- Utilize AutoCAD/Civil3D to design, detail, and coordinate medium to large size projects within time allotments and within project budgets.
- Attend project meetings during both design and construction phases.
- Provide quality control checks on work produced.
- Support project construction administration by reviewing shop drawings, responding to Requests for Information (RFIs), and conducting field observations.
- Monitor project budgets and approve invoices to clients.
- Participate in collection and account receivable efforts.
- Work overtime as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in site development.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Colorado or the ability to obtain one within three months.
- Eligible to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
- Ability to work in the Denver area.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently for extended periods of time.
- Strong written, technical, and interpersonal skills.

- Attention to detail, delivering quality work products, and excellent client services.

Desired
- Experience using AutoCAD/Civil3D to produce civil construction documents.
- Strong knowledge of working with municipal, commercial, and other related site development projects.

Compensation
- Base Salary: For individuals hired in Colorado, a reasonable estimate of the current range for this role is $111,000 to $130,000 annually.
- Annual Bonus: This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary annual bonus program.
- Base salary review and increases, in addition to annual bonuses, are dependent on various factors, including a hired individual’s job-level and annual company performance.
