Senior Project Engineer
About the role
This opportunity involves working on projects with WSP's Florida Construction Management Team and contributing to a growing organization that fulfills client objectives and addresses their challenges. The Senior Project Engineer position is based in Central Florida and supports high-profile and alternative delivery transportation-market projects.
Responsibilities
- Participate as a member of the Consultant Construction Engineering and Inspection (CCEI) contract team
- Direct a highly complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection project/program
- Plan and organize the work of subordinate and staff members; develop and/or review project specific policies, methods, practices, and procedures
- Review programs for conformance with Client standards
- Identify and pursue future opportunities
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
- Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent State of Florida Registered Professional Engineer
- 12 years of Engineering experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
- Certifications (must have or achieve within 3 months): CTQP Quality Control Manager (Pass Exam), FDOT Advanced MOT
