Webcor is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to promote site and office safety and support the Project Management team in planning, coordinating, and administering assigned projects. Ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to Webcor’s quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes and adheres to safety best practices on the jobsite.
  • Assists the Project Manager and team members in planning, coordination, and administration of assigned projects, including RFIs, submittals, contracts, change orders, purchasing, scheduling, and progress reports.
  • Supports bidding and buyout activities, including scope delineation, scope letter development, bidder outreach, and bid leveling.
  • Reviews field inspection reports and communicates deficiencies to supervisor and responsible Superintendent.
  • Manages record drawings, including review and posting of document changes.
  • Creates and maintains document control logs for buyout and construction phases.
  • Tracks weekly trade performance against the project schedule, reviews delay logs, and provides team updates.
  • Reviews specifications to identify required submittals, prepares submittal schedules, and communicates deficiencies.
  • Facilitates the project's VDC coordination efforts.
  • Takes and distributes accurate meeting minutes, including safety meetings.
  • Promotes sustainability initiatives and coordinates project LEED requirements.
  • Maintains project progress photographs and distributes them per project requirements.
  • Performs project quality control and on-site coordination with trades.
  • Understands and helps manage jobsite general requirements (GRs).
  • Handles other special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • LEED GA certification preferred.
  • OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 preferred.

Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of document control and information flow for RFIs, submittals, and document management.
  • Working knowledge of contracts, purchase orders, insurance requirements, claim resolutions, and warranty terms.
  • Understanding of surveying, scheduling, drawings, and construction sequencing.
  • Proficiency in VDC coordination tools such as Revit and Navisworks.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD/Navisworks.
  • Basic knowledge of change management.
  • Ability to develop and manage short interval schedules for small features of work (preferred).
  • Strong communication skills at all levels, including delivering presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Sound decision-making and judgment.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Basic leadership skills, including mentoring junior staff and maintaining team morale.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, use construction personnel hoists, ladders, and navigate work areas under construction.
  • Requires close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Frequent use of hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; ability to sit, talk, hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock.
  • Moderate to very loud noise levels in the work environment.

Pay

Range of base pay is $105,000–$115,000. Actual pay is based on individual skill level and experience.
