Senior Project Engineer

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This role will guide engineering execution across complex projects, with a focus on scope, schedule, budget, and technical coordination. The Senior Project Engineer will work closely with project leadership, vendors, and interdisciplinary technical teams to keep work moving efficiently and in alignment with project requirements. This position is also responsible for supporting compliance, quality, and documentation needs while helping drive successful project delivery. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering work scope, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress
• Coordinate procurement efforts, including vendor interaction and bid analysis
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards while overseeing quality and productivity
• Manage interdisciplinary technical personnel assignments and provide support
• Assist the Project Manager with technical, fiscal, and administrative project functions
• Prepare technical reports and project documentation for stakeholders
• Review and approve change orders and communicate updates to the team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field
• 12+ years of relevant field engineering experience
• Demonstrated supervisory and leadership capabilities
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Deep understanding of industry practices and regulations
• Proficiency in engineering software relevant to projects
• Ability to mentor and guide team members

Pay

$112,200 – $196,400 annually
