Key Responsibilities
- Engineer custom, engineered-to-order products in accordance with customer requirements, industry codes, and internal standards
- Produce accurate design calculations, 3D models, 2D drawings, bills of material, and design documentation
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, PED) and internal Quality and EHS Management Systems
- Support manufacturing through assembly, test, and resolution of technical issues
- Review and check the work of other engineers; provide technical guidance and informal mentoring
- Participate in project planning, schedules, and workload forecasting
- Understand cost and budget implications of design choices and support engineering project budgets
- Collaborate effectively across engineering, quality, operations, and project management teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement, problem-solving initiatives, and design standardization where appropriate
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 5–10+ years of experience in a manufacturing or engineered-to-order environment
- Experience supporting highly regulated industries (nuclear, power generation, defense, aerospace, or similar, strongly preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of engineering codes, materials, and design calculations
- Experience creating and reviewing detailed CAD models and technical documentation
- Proven ability to manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously
- Comfortable working as a senior individual contributor with responsibility for technical quality and delivery

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range: $100,000 – $115,000, commensurate with experience
