About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our extraordinary project team. This is an individual role but involves many facets of construction, including project management functions such as procurement, permit tracking, subcontractor pre-qualification, scope identification, change order pricing, quality management, and punch list maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, maintain, and understand construction drawings, specifications, and project documents
  • Assemble monthly reports, Zero Accident plan, and Quality Assurance plan
  • Develop and maintain Submittals, Drawings, Specifications, and RFI logs
  • Aid in updating and maintaining the construction schedule and weekly schedule updates
  • Coordinate and sequence utility line locates
  • Participate in Lean Principles execution throughout the project lifecycle (daily huddles, pull-planning, etc.)
  • Directly involved in project closeout, document delivery, and project completion report
  • Organize and submit necessary documentation and submittals for Green Building or LEED certification
  • Identify and address contract document discrepancies and constructability issues
  • Conduct daily field walks to address safety, quality control, and gain a thorough understanding of multiple trades

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant construction experience
  • College graduate with relevant degree or equivalent experience in field construction operations
  • Thorough understanding of project documents and local building codes
  • Fundamental understanding of field engineering and site layout
  • Experience using Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, Egnyte, CMiC, and Revit or comparable construction technologies
