Senior Project Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our extraordinary project team. This role involves coordinating, maintaining, and understanding construction documents, assembling reports, assisting with scheduling, and managing project closeout.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, maintain, and understand construction drawings, specifications, and other project documents
• Assemble monthly reports, Zero Accident plan, and Quality Assurance plan
• Develop and maintain Submittals, Drawings, Specifications, and RFI logs
• Aid in updating and maintaining the construction schedule and weekly schedule updates
• Assist with utility line locates and Lean Principles execution
• Participate in project closeout, document delivery, and completion reporting
• Submit necessary documentation for Green Building or LEED certification
• Identify and address contract document discrepancies and constructability issues
• Perform daily field walks for safety, quality control, and trade understanding
• Supervise and mentor entry-level Project Engineers and Interns

Requirements

• 2+ years minimum of relevant construction experience OR college graduate with relevant degree AND relevant experience in field construction operations
• Thorough understanding of project documents and local building codes
• Fundamental understanding of Field Engineering and site-layout
• Experience using Excel, Procore, Bluebeam, Egnyte, CMiC, and Revit or comparable construction technologies
