Senior Project Engineer
Key Accountabilities
- Lead end-to-end project management for large-scale manufacturing expansion initiatives, including various new Machining methods at the Aiken site.
- Serve as the primary project lead coordinating cross-functional workstreams across Manufacturing Engineering, Facilities, Quality, Logistics, Purchasing, Controlling, HR, IT, and external partners.
- Define project scope, objectives, schedules, and governance structures in alignment with global manufacturing standards, timelines, and budgetary targets.
- Deploy established manufacturing processes and standards from global reference sites while enabling adaptation and innovation to support local production requirements.

Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Extensive professional experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional projects, preferably within an international or multi-site manufacturing context.
- Strong understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes with demonstrated interest in digital workflows, data-driven manufacturing, and modern production systems.
- Strong project management capability, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence, align, and drive decisions across organizational boundaries.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a complex, matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required to support project execution.
- Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite; experience with project planning or tracking tools
- German language skills
- Project management professional (PMP) certification
- Experience supporting manufacturing expansions, facility launches, or major capital investment projects.
- Exposure to Lean manufacturing or value stream design methodologies.
- Experience working within global manufacturing networks.
