Senior Project Engineer

About the role

The Senior Project Engineer serves as a key member of the project team, ensuring effective communication and information exchange throughout the project lifecycle. This role involves detailed knowledge of project phases and processes, serving as the central hub of communication between the project team, owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, project managers, and superintendents.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all questions are answered and distribute answers to the field team and owner representatives.
• Support estimators and project accountants with resources to make data-driven decisions.
• Interface with Pavilion clients, support multiple projects and project managers, and provide opportunities for professional growth.
• Work with the Project Manager to develop skills towards becoming a Project Manager.
• Provide document control services.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a Commercial Project Engineer role.
• Maintain RFI Logs, log, transmit, and distribute submittals.
• Affiliate with production and distribution of owner correspondence.
• Coordinate subcontractor maintenance of as-built documents.
• Adhere to quality assurance practices.
• Monitor productivity tracking.
• Affiliate with subcontract administration through Viewpoint software.
• Provide document control services.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with project management software such as Viewpoint.
